Brave Wave Productions Return Policy


Do you accept returns or exchanges?

For orders on physical items in stock, we accept requests for returns and exchanges within 7 days of receipt of the item. Please contact at support@bravewave.net to request your refund. Make sure to list your Bandcamp order ID and PayPal transaction ID.

Pre-ordered items can be refunded at any time before the item is readied for shipping. Refunds are made directly to the original PayPal account and transaction ID used in the original purchase. 

The refund amount will depend on when the refund request is placed. Refunds requested within 60 days of the purchase date will be refunded in full.

Refund requests made after 60 days, but before the item has shipped, will be subject to a partial refund that is calculated as the original purchase cost minus Brave Wave's PayPal transaction costs. This policy is in place because PayPal only allows complete refunds within 60 days of purchase. The partial refund will be refunded to the customer via the "Send Money" function on PayPal, which will be further subject to PayPal transaction fees once in the customer's account. 

Please contact support@bravewave.net to request your pre-order cancellation. 

However, please note that if an item is in stock, generally it will begin preparation for shipping on the same day. Once an item is prepared for shipping, it cannot be cancelled. However, it could be returned under our standard return policy (see below: How do refunds work?).

My physical item came with a download code. Can I still return the physical item?

Yes, you may return any physical item you have purchased within 7 days of receipt. However, the accompanying download code cannot be cancelled, so we will subtract the cost of the download album from your refund amount. 

What items can be returned for a refund?

Any item sold by Brave Wave Productions may be returned for a refund as long as it meets the minimum requirements set forth as follows. Physical music products (CDs, vinyl sets, etc.) must be unopened and undamaged and suitable for resale to another customer.  

We cannot accept returns for music products that have been opened except in the case of a defect. Other merchandise, such as T-shirts, must be unworn and unwashed.

If items are returned opened or damaged without prior notification, then they will be returned to the user without a refund or destroyed.

What is the refund policy on downloaded music?

As downloaded music from Bandcamp is DRM-free, we cannot accept requests for refunds on these items. Please ensure that you are purchasing the correct product. 

How do refunds work?

If the item meets the conditions for a refund (requested within 7 days, unopened, unworn, undamaged), then a refund will be made via PayPal minus shipping and handling costs after receipt and verification of the item. 

Also, return and exchange shipments are the responsibility of the customer except for items that are returned as defective, or if the customer received an incorrect item or number of items.

Do you offer upsells on your products?

We offer upsells only for those who wish to purchase a physical music album after purchasing the corresponding download version. Such requests should be made within 14 days of the purchase of the download version. Please contact support@bravewave.net for more information. 

My order arrived damaged during shipping, or it has not arrived. Can I receive a replacement?

We have differing policies depending on where you live. In general, please allow at least 30 days from dispatch for your package to arrive if you are outside of the United States. Within the United States, please allow for 3 weeks before contacting us. Should you need assistance, please see our geographic-specific policies below.

Policy for United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, European countries, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea: 
Small, readily-available items such as CDs are easily replaceable for free. However, limited-print items such as LP box sets are subject to replacement on a case-by-case basis depending on the nature of the defect. In most cases, one part of the product, such as the outer box, LP sleeve or one vinyl disc may be replaced instead of the entire thing. Please contact us at support@bravewave.net with specific details of your situation and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Policy for Other Countries: Countries outside of those listed above have a history of packages being lost or arriving severely damaged. Therefore, to these regions, we require shipping to be tracked, insured and relatively fast. We cannot be liable for a replacement if damage has occurred due to mishandling by your local post office. We may be able to arrange for redelivery or replacement on a case-by-case basis, for a fee. Please contact us at support@bravewave.net with specific details of your situation and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Can I change my shipping address after purchase?

Yes, this is allowed until an item is prepared for shipment. Please send an email to support@bravewave.net with your Bandcamp and PayPal transaction IDs and your new address. However, once an item ships, we are unable to make changes to the shipping destination. Note that address change requests sent to other email addresses are not guaranteed to be processed, so please ensure that you are emailing support@bravewave.net.
